Bamboo Research and Training Centre (BRTC) is an autonomous organization established by the Maharashtra Forest Department on December 4th, 2014. It was formed with a vision to become a premier institute in the Bamboo Sector through Research, Training, and Skill Development.

BRTC Chichpalli Hosts Landmark Research Symposium

A one-day Research Symposium was successfully organized at BRTC, Chichpalli on its Foundation Day to promote bamboo research and innovation.
Bamboo was highlighted as “Green Gold” for its role in sustainable development, climate action, and employment generation.
The symposium emphasized integration of research, policy, industry, and skill development for strengthening the bamboo sector.
